EVE Online - Dominion Expansion Launches
While EVE Online is still down for patching, when it opens up later today (about 9 PM GMT/4 PM EST) it will usher in CCP's twelfth "expansion" to the long-running sci-fi MMOG. Dominion seeks to alter "the very way in which pilots interact with each other through warfare or cooperation." Sweeping changes have come to EVE in this update (their patch notes are incredibly long, though the link is randomly going on and offline as I type this), improving things from the UI to bug fixes to introducing new missions and content.
Massively mentions two popular EVE bloggers who've dissected pieces of the patch notes with commentary if you want to have something to read while you're waiting for the game to relaunch.
The official website also has a mini-page dedicated to the expansion along with a nice shiny trailer to whet your appetite for space warfare.
