Microsoft Wants You to Christmas Shop In The Xbox LIVE Marketplace

Microsoft wants to get your Xbox in the holiday spirit. Starting today, you can purchase a tacky holiday sweater for your Avatar to wear, or elf or Santa costumes, too. They've also added tokidoki gear, and on December 24, they're launching Disney apparel.
December will also bring the usual Deals of the Week, on stuff like a Coldplay Track Pack for Lips and games like Shadow Complex, as well as new Games on Demand like Crackdown, Devil May Cry 4 and Gears of War amongst others. But the really interesting part is that from December 18 through December 31, they will be announcing limited-time one-day discounts on select Xbox LIVE Marketplace content. They're not announcing any list of what's going to be up for sale, so you'll have to check each day yourself, but they're promising everything from games to movies to add-ons to whatever. These daily deals will be available to both Xbox LIVE Gold and Silver members, so everyone gets a crack at the sale items (as opposed to the Deal of the Week, which remains for Gold members only).
Personally, I think the Holiday sweater is a hoot, but I can't justify wasting points on it. It's why I still haven't bought a single piece of Avatar clothing since they opened the Avatar Marketplace. I can't bring myself to do it.

I bought the purple pom poms. How could I not???
I want the ginger bread man because you take a bite out of it, and then it comes TO LIFE AND RUNS AROUND SCREAMING. It's so great.
