Namco Bandai Expanding Its Digital World

katamaridamacy1.jpg

Namco Bandai will not be left in the dust. With digital distribution becoming increasingly popular, the publisher has announced their intent to expand their digital distribution strategy. They're going to offer classic and new games from their extensive library via Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network. The upcoming and currently available titles are:

Xbox LIVE Games on Demand:
Ridge Racer 6, available now for 1600 MP
Beautiful Katamari, available Q1 2010

PlayStation Network for the PSP system:
Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny and Tekken 6, now available for $39.99
Ridge Racer, available now for $14.99
Me & My Katamari, available now for $19.99

More titles will be announced in the coming months, which is good, because the only upcoming announced game is Beautiful Katamari. I'm curious what else they're going to offer. What would you guys like to play on your 360 or PSP? (Also, is it just me, or are those price points a little steep? I feel like you should be able to find a used copy of Me & My Katamari somewhere for around $10...)

Ridge Racer 6 goes for about $5 at gamestop. $20 for a digital copy is a ripoff.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
