Cheap Date: Sega Holiday Sale On PSN And Wii Virtual Console

'Tis the season to be overrun with holiday sales, and Sega is doing their part to contribute with savings on both their PSN and Wii downloadable wares. Oddly, Sega has left Xbox 360 gamers out in the cold on these holiday deals.
The bulk of the PSN discounts come from digital copies of PSP games, with the likes of Alien Syndrome, Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars, Crush, Full Auto 2: Battlelines, Iron Man, Sega Genesis Collection, Sonic Rivals, Sonic Rivals 2, Super Monkey Ball Adventure all marked down 40% from their regular pricing. Then on the PS3, Gunstar Heroes is discounted 40% as well as all of the DLC for Sonic Unleashed, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Valkyria Chronicles.
On the Wii, Sega is discounting 10 of its best selling games with Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Gunstar Heroes, Toejam & Earl, Puyo Puyo 2, Shining Force, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, and Streets of Rage 2 all reduced to 500 Wii points (or $5 in real money). This marks the first sale Nintendo has allowed on Virtual Console games since the Wii's launch, so depending on its success we may see more retro sales on Nintendo's console in the future.
Do any of Sega's holiday savings catch your eye? I had been holding off on the Valkyria Chronicles DLC for a long time, and finally downloaded them thanks to this deal. The PSN deals started yesterday and run through January 7, while the Wii deals begin tomorrow (12/24) and run through January 6.

Plan to get the Sonic Series and Toe Jam & Earl on the Wii when the sale kicks in. Figure $20 for the four games is a nice deal.
I'll likely pick up the DLC for Valkyria Chronicles, seeing as I recently picked up the game and it's sitting in my backlog.
