Video: Batman Arkham Asylum II Debut Trailer

Well, as some of you know the Spike TV Video Game Awards happened over the weekend. A number of awards were given out, and we even had one of the folks on the GayGamer IRC live-blog the event. Along with all the awards that were given out, they also used the timeslot to help promote a few debut traliers for games that we'll hopefully be seeing in the next year. One trailer that apparently flew under our radar was the announcement that Eidos and Warner Bros. are indeed working on a sequel to their big hit this year, Batman: Arkham Asylum.

In fact, they showed off the lovely trailer above during the awards ceremony that helps set up some of the plot for the upcoming sequel, Batman: Arkham Asylum II. True to form, it looks like the Joker is once again running a muck; however, it seems with all the damage done to the old facility, this time they had to temporarily move the ward to the mainland, which as we can all expect means that hell is going to break loose in Gotham City this time. Hopefully we'll be seeing this sequel in 2010, but no definite date has been given, but it is smart of Edios and Warner Bros. to already have their fan base foaming at the mouth for more.
