Virtual Pets For Your 360 Avatar
Pets are fashion accessories nowadays, or so it seems from how you see them toted around in bags, or dragged around with fancy clothing. Apparently Microsoft sees them in the same light and has recently announced that they will be releasing their first batch of pets that you can purchase for your 360 avatars. In all they are releasing twelve different pets to purchase, each for the price tag of 240 points. This first batch of pets includes: Large Dog, Pug Dog, Dog in Bag, Cat, Siamese Cat, Long Haired Cat, Goldfish, Guinea Pig, Monkey, Bird, Snake, and even a Pony. That's right you can even buy yourself or someone you care about a pony for their avatar (now if only I could send a severed pony head to my enemies).
While it would be cool to have a monkey on your shoulder, a couple of the pets have me worried (besides the pony). If you did read through all of the pets, you will have noticed that one of the 'dog' varieties that they included is "dog in bag", which I'm guessing is the small dog in a handbag fad that Paris Hilton seemed to be leading for many years. Well, at least all those Chelsea gay gamers can look as stylish with their avatar as they do before they walk out onto to the street, luckily the 360 way won't cost an arm and a leg, nor thirty minutes in the bathroom every morning.
