Gaijin Games Wants To See Your Bits

Have you always dreamed of making games or contributing to one in some manner? It seems as though those retro-fueled folks over at Gaijin Games are hoping to make at least a few dreams come true by asking their fans to supply them with a few pieces of art for their next BIT.TRIP title. But just as the quirky series of WiiWare games aren't your ordinary downloadable titles, this call for entries isn't your run of the mill art contest either! Gaijin Games is looking for something a little more specific from their fans as their blog post explains...
Hey TRIP'ers! Would you like to make '4 bit' retro looking graffiti for BT4? We are looking for solid colors that are very blocky and in the BIT.TRIP art style. You can post your works of art here or send them to info[AT]gaijingames.com. We're looking to use an undetermined amount of these fan-generated pieces in-game, so this is your chance to go down in history as a BIT.TRIP CONTRIBUTOR!For those that confuse their bits and bytes, a 4 bit image would only be made up of 16 colors (well, 15 if you wanted to use any type of transparency if you want to get technical about it). While that might sound difficult or unforgiving, keep in mind that once upon a time it was state of the art technology. So what are you waiting for? Fire up MS Paint, GIMP, Photoshop, or your image editor of choice and paint those pixels!
