Persona 3 Goes Portable

Atlas continues to show the PSP love, even if it is just another enhanced remake of a PS2 title. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable will be winging its way onto Sony's handheld on July 6. This version will feature a new player-controlled female character for a new perspective on the story and dozens of hours of extra gameplay on top of the 100 or so that were already there. (Love the clever logo, too!)
"Persona 3 introduced a revolutionary social element to role-playing games," explained Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales at Atlus. "Players weren't just progressing through a story; they were a part of it, and their decisions and the relationships they chose to foster or neglect became a powerful complement to the game's satisfying combat. Persona 3 Portable takes everything that made Persona 3 such a tremendous, award-winning hit and translates it into the perfect handheld RPG experience."
The remake will also add Skill Cards, part-time jobs, five difficulty settings ranging from "beginner" to "maniac" and the ability to directly control your teammates in battle. That's kind of a big one, and changes the whole gameplay experience. Atlus has also added one-button menu shortcuts, streamlined team equipment changes, short load times and other tweaks. So is the ability to play the game from a female perspective enough to get you to buy it again?

wow i get to buy persona 3 a THIRD time :/
Unless there's a preorder bonus, I'll wait on this one, but I definitely want it.
My thought exactly terrencelee.
All this crap with rereleases with more content is really annoying.
As if buying the regular and FES versions wasn't enough.
