Can You Handle Two Months Of Lips DLC?

commodores-2.jpg

Okay, once again, Microsoft hasn't put out a press release about what to expect in the way of Lips DLC in February, despite the fact that we're already a week in, and there's already been three songs released. Thankfully, someone in the Lips Forums saw fit to post the upcoming DLC for February, and even went as far as to post for March. Now, that would lead me to suspect that this might not be kosher, but it turned out that the January DLC I saw posted in the forums was right, so even though this is a different user, I'm gonna go ahead and post it here. We'll see what's right as the weeks go by.

Last week we had a Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell song pack and separate releases of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing" and "You're All I Need To Get By." After the break, you'll find the next seven weeks laid out for you (It's a long list!)...

February 12:
"Cherish" by The Association
"Love Stinks" by J. Geils Band
"Sex And Candy" by Marcy Playground

I wonder if "Cherish" will let someone do the backup and harmony...

February 19:
"High" by James Blunt
"Papparazzi" by Lady Gaga
"Spitting Games" by Snow Patrol
Lips: Party Classics Song Medley

I'll probably just add to my Haus of Gaga collection, though I'm curious what the medley might contain.

February 26:
"Mr. Vain" by Culture Beat
"Free Bird" by Lyrnyrd Skynryd
"Hip Hop Hooray" by Naughty By Nature

Huh. Nice variety here, but none of them really appeal to me.

March 5:
"Brick House" "Easy" and "Three Times A Lady" by The Commodores, available as a song pack or separately

I'm so all over "Brick House" it's not even funny, but we'll see how I feel about the other two when the time comes.

March 12:
"Breathless" by The Corrs
"Happy Hour" by The Housemartins

Not sure why there's only two songs listed for this week, but maybe they'll add a third one by the 12th that I might actually want.

March 19
"Sugar Sugar" by The Archies
"Do You Believe In Love" by Huey Lewis & The News
"If You Don't Know Me By Now" by Simply Red

Hm... I'll probably just stick with The Archies. It'll be the closest I can get to being part of Josie & The Pussycats.

March 26:
"Come Away With Me," "Don't Know Why" and "Sunrise" by Norah Jones, available as a song pack or separately.

I hate when they have song packs from artists I'm not a fan of. I feel like it's a wasted week.

I love the Commodores but I think "Lady" should have been on the pack instead of Easy. The "Lady" video- hilarious & fun. It's perfect for lips.

Hi,

I was the one who posted the DLC on the forums. I didn't post last month's but I'm sure I've leaked a lot of info to the community. I'm also the admin of the Lips Wiki, so this list is probably legit.
