Gamestop Unveils Back Of Final Fantasy XIII Case (Xbox 360 Version)
We are all well aware of Gamestop's entitled opinion of itself when it comes to well, just about anything. From broken street dates, to at times spotty customer service, Gamestop has never shown any shame in throwing its corporate weight around. This time it appears to work in our favor because Gamestop leaked a photo of the back of the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII! The images are a little blurry but you can plainly see that the highly anticipated RPG will have us also anticipating some downloadable content! The current buzz is that Final Fantasy will be a gorgeous albeit linear affair. Here is hoping this is an indication for optional side quests that will expand on the world and in game mythos. Assuming the contest is worthwhile, this kind of news is great to hear for a Final Fantasy game! Who has this pre-ordered for the 9th of March? What kind of DLC are you hoping for?

I severely doubt that the PS3 is going to get screwed on downloadable content (memories of Grand Theft Auto IV are still quite fresh), but as a rule I expect the unexpected and until I see something concrete saying that the PS3 will also be getting some sort of downloadable content then I am, to say the least, worried.
If I had to ask for anything as far as expanded content then yes, it'd probably be side quests. I doubt that I'll want much more from the game unless the initial side quests are as daunting or as unnecessary as they were in X and XII.
What kind of DLC am I hoping for? None! I would like to see the complete game on release day, on the disc.
$5 Chocobo armour, I hope.
I am so looking forward to this game still.. Muah ha ha, it's been so long since I had my Final Fantasy fix.
I'm interested to see what they do for DLC since the game itself is meant to be pretty linear. Here's hoping some pretty awesome side story lines continuously added over time.
I pre-ordered(for my PS3) and honestly, I don't really care what the DLC looks like.
But if i had to guess, it'll probably be some of the mounds of material they cut from the original game disc.
Its been so long since I've played a FF game I'd have no idea what sort of DLC to expect. Additional weapon types or costumes? I don't know, the age of DLC is sort of new and the results of it are mixed as far as I'm concerned. Is it too much to expect a full game without having to shell out extra money for a questionable gimmick?
Yep, I have the 360 version pre-ordered, though I'm not much of an online gamer outside the rare XBLA or WiiWare title, so the content of the DLC isn't really on my radar at the minute - I'm more interested in the actual game!
Actually, square enix has already announced that there will be NO DLC for either console. They have stated that this is a "full package" game and there is nothing more to add to the game. Albeit odd for square enix not to jump on the DLC bandwagon, the company did push back the release date to ensure the game was fully completed. If you are interested in FF DLC, hold your breath and wait for FF14.
