Greetings From The Nintendo Media Summit

Well, through a series of chance events, I find myself this morning at the W Hotel in San Francisco. Unlike other times it's not with the normal hangover and walk of shame, but instead with a bevy of Nintendo games at my fingertips. That's right, we were invited to attend Nintendo's Media Summit here in San Francisco and your truly was lucky enough to get to cover all the fine treats Nintendo has lined up for us in the coming months while Fruit Brute is on a top secret mission in LA.
One of the major toys that they will be showing off here, and that I'm eager to play with, is the upcoming Nintendo DSi XL that is due to launch in Europe and the US in March. Alongside the XL, they'll be showing us a number of other games, two of which could be Metroid: Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The part that has me most intrigued is the "private, hands-on demo of a key title" that I'll be seeing in the afternoon. Unfortunately I can't spill the beans on everything they show us today until the event is over, but you'll definitely be seeing a number of impressions and hands-on articles from us tomorrow.
Wish me luck and let's all hope that I don't try to hit on Donkey Kong at the hotel bar after I've put a few under the hood (mostly for Diddy Kong's sake).

Oh, how I hope that the "private, hands-on demo of a key title" is the next Zelda.
They are probably not far along enough to have a demo though... so my hopes will be dashed.
