X10: Fable III

Fable_III_screenshot_Night_Time_Action.jpg

Despite claims that Fable III would be available for a look see last week at Microsoft's X10 event, the game was nowhere to be found, much to my disappointment. I was hoping to run in to the game's creator, Peter Molyneux, who has always been very generous with his time when it comes to GayGamer, but he too, we sot to be found.

So, we shall have to be satisfied with what I could glean from the title's fact sheet and the selection of screenshots below. As far as the game's plot, this is what I discovered:

  • It takes place 50 years after the Fable 2

  • Albion is in the midst of an industrial revolution

  • You fight in an Albion revolution

  • You become the Queen or King of Albion

  • Despite being royalty, you will still be engaging in combat

  • Your decisions now affect the entire country

  • You can decide to rule as an evil or benevolent dictator

That's about all the detail we have for now, but you can get a closer look at the new Albion in the gallery. Fable III is set to launch in the holiday season of this year.

If I were to make a cynical guess, I'd say their absence is due to more exaggerated promises (as we've grown accustomed to) and that Fable III will be postponed.
It feels a little early after the last one as it is TBH.

Nevertheless I'm really looking forward to it. Loved the other two.
I wonder if, now that you lead a nation, there'll be massive army battles or something like that.

After Fable 2, I don't think I can ever trust Molyneux or get excited about any of his games again.

The problem is Molyneux tells gamers what Lionhead is working on adding to the game. The problem is that this never fully works out due to time, money, or code efficiency. It isn't that he is lying or exaggerating, they really are working on what he says. I half blame him for announcing things prematurly and half blame the fans for interpreting "we are working on adding" as a promise.

And you guys obviously have not followed him during the Black and White days.

Oh man, what I wouldn't give for Black and White 3 instead of Fable 3.

When he is found, I hope more light is shed on the homo side of Fable. This king and queen business doesn't suit me. And it is supposed to be very progeny centric(as seen in the pics as well), so an adoption system would be needed as well for the full experience. I'm just concerned that they may write out gayness for the sake of maintaining a hetero royal couple. STAFF! These are the things I need to know, please take note, lol.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
