Teaser pic sometime soon? xD
Oh, and I've been playing FFXIII too [360 version], and have a love / hate thing with it as well.
I'm only about halfway through disc 2 right now [I'm assuming, I have Lightning and Fang as my party for the second time], but my personal beefs with the game are:
- Not entirely the lack of towns [as I'm going one now], but the lack of things to do in the few we do find, like no real talking to NPCs [they just mutter stuff to themselves, no random someone gives you an item etc.] and other town standards from RPGs.
- GAME OVER with the party leader dying. I think it's kinda silly.
- No run away from regular battles.
- No real minigames or and sidequests [until X point in the game]. What happened to the likes of IX and VIII's sidequests that can [and some did] start off from the outset?
But yes, I am enjoying it, but it definitely has its flaws. FFXIV will have to be something very special to entice me back over other series I've / wanna dabble in [in] the future.
Great podcast guys! ^-^
Gaming on Macs will never take off even with Steam because Apple refuses to put decent video cards on thier machines. As great as thier products are (typing this on my iPhone), I have resolved
myself to getting a mid range iMac for my digital/ school work and getting a gaming laptop later on.
Hopefully I'm proven wrong between now and when steam is officially released but I'm not holding my breath.
