Hamlet Brings The Crazy With Guitar Claudius And Boss Battles
Not too long ago, Heavy Rain creator David Cage talked about wanting to make a game based on a Shakespeare play, and I poked some fun at the idea of a Hamlet videogame. Little did I know that there was in fact a Hamlet videogame in the works by indie developer Mif2000. Clearly such a classic work of literature and theater deserves an interactive retelling that preserves Shakespeare's...wait, is that a Kraken?
To say that Hamlet takes some liberties with the classic tale would be an understatement. But you know what, I wouldn't have it any other way. Perhaps the gorgeous, whimsical art style has hypnotized me, but I'm now deeply craving this comical retelling. Hamlet will be coming out quite soon actually, so if logic puzzles, boss battles, and Claudius with a guitar have won you over as they have me look for Hamlet on PC April 8.
