Portal 2 Confirmed, Not A Cake
Portal has been receiving a little love from Valve in this past week. New ending, hidden little gems, and a rekindled interest in a gaming icon.
It should come as no surprise then, that Valve has officially confirmed a sequel today. We can look forward to seeing it this holiday season.
Furthermore, GameInformer has revealed its cover for next month to feature the game, which you see to the right. They boast:

Hmmmmm, while I enjoy portal immensely.....I just want Episode 3 so much more :P I really hope Valve has been quietly plunking away at Ep3 this whole time and not shelving it in favor of L4D2, TF2, and P2.
Fantastic news this was. I was afraid that it was going to be something like Half life episode 3.
I would really love to play the orange boxset but valve have not released it for mac os x. I wish more great software companies would support the mac platform like blizzard do. I hope their move towards a steam client fo mac os x signals that this is in the works.

The underlined letters form the login and password to the dialup BBS number seen earlier in the dinosaur teases.
Mac version is the best news I've heard in a long time. Other developer's need to get on board with Mac development.
