Netflix Available On Wii Today
With their service launching on the Wii, Netflix has finally conquered all three major gaming consoles. As of today you can now stream all of Netflix's "Watch Instantly" titles directly to your Wii, finally giving Nintendo's little white wonder the one thing it was missing: the ability to play movies. The Wii streaming will work similar to the PS3 version in that you will have to insert a special disc to get the streaming to actually work. The discs are free and you can get one by following this link to the Netflix website.
Given the number of Wii's out there in the world, I expect Netflix will likely see a decent bump in memberships and a definite increase in the amount of downloaded content. And now, if you will excuse me, I have some episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer to stream.
