Nintendownloads - 4/26/10

This week sees the release of 5 Arcade Gems on WiiWare. No, not five distinct classic arcade games, this is a minigame collection of five generic games that never set foot in an arcade. Don't you just love false advertising? Or perhaps you would like to make yourself a less desirable meal for the inevitable zombie apocalypse, in which case Brain Drain will sap your head organ dry with its challenging puzzles.

The virtual console gets some 2D fighting action with King of Fighters '95, which introduced the team edit feature allowing players to choose their own team of fighters to take into battle.

Six new games grace the DSi shop this week. There seems to be an animal theme going on here with games like Don't Feed The Animals, Puffins: Let's Roll, and DodoGo! Or if you're more inclined to destroy the environment then befriend woodland creatures, you can pretend to do so with the exhaust emissions from Ferrari GT: Evolution. There is also the unique augmented-reality shooter System Flaw Recruit, which allows you to use the the DSi's camera to aim your system in 360 degree space. And finally, EA releases a new variant on the classic board game with Scrabble Slam! putting an emphasis on pushing the game at a faster pace. And don't forget to download this week's WarioWare D.I.Y. microgame, brought to you by indie superstar and Super Meat Boy creator Edmund McMillen.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
