Play With The New Doctor Who!

I know lots of my friends have already viewed the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who through... other means... but I'm going to watch it on BBC America HD when it airs next week. Though I have no official opinion on the new Doctor, I'm still intrigued by the announcement that the BBC will be producing four additional adventures to be part of this series as interactive adventure games. Doctor Who: The Adventure Games will be available as a free download from www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho.
"Children don't just watch Doctor Who - they join in. They make up games, invent their monsters, create their own stories," says Steven Moffat, Head Writer and Executive Producer. "Now, there's something else - now they can be the Doctor in brand new episodes. By developing these games alongside the new TV series, we've been able to weave exciting narrative strands with the very finest game design to create a new kind of Doctor Who, which can be enjoyed by the whole family."
The exact titles of the four games are still being kept under wraps, but the first one will be revealed at a special press event on April 21. But I'm hopeful these will be awesome because they're being executive produced by Moffat and other members of the Doctor Who team, as well as Charles Cecil, who worked on the Broken Sword series and Beneath a Steel Sky, among other adventure games. The titles are being developed by Sumo Digital, and scripts are from Phil Ford (co-writer of "Waters of Mars") and James Moran (Torchwood: Children of Earth). Both Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have been digitally recreated as The Doctor and Amy in-game, and have provided full voiceovers.
The first game in the series is scheduled to be available for download in June for both PC and Mac. The only trick is will I be able to download them from the US?

there has to be an unlockable tennant skin. just HAS to!
Wow... whoever did that dude's hair should be shot. And what happened to his eyebrows???
It's well worth the wait. And I say that as a reader in the UK, where the first ep has already aired. Matt Smith is *amazing* as the Doctor, and this series promises to be great!
This is the first that I'm hearing of these Adventure Games, though. I'm just not sure that they'll live up to my expectations.
So, only children play videogames, huh? :P
When will the middle-aged people ever learn...?
someone needs to play barber with him.....
First episode was ok, but I am very much looking forward to the second episode on BBCHD tomorrow.
I suspect the games will be ad supported in the US or maybe given away as a boon with the series Blu-ray.
