Sackboy Joins The ModNation Racers!
I don't mean to horn in on our illustrious Fruit Brute's territory here, but amidst all of his ModNation Racers love, I thought I should add that Sony has — in a move that should surprise no one, really — added Sackboy to the list of playable characters in ModNation Racers on the PS3!
Of course, there's a catch. There's always a catch.
On May 25, keep an eye out for specially stickered copies of ModNation Racers (as shown in the gallery below), because those are the ones which will contain a PSN voucher good for the Sackboy Mod and his Cardboard Kart. If you've already pre-ordered the game, you'll automatically get the Sackboy voucher. But if you want to race as the adorable little guy, don't sit around on your thumbs, because supplies are limited!
Also, if you've pre-ordered from a participating retailer, you'll also get an exclusive character (GameStop nets you Kratos, Amazon has Ratchet or Clank, and Best Buy gets you Nathan Drake) but also a random bonus Mod and Kart. You'll either end up with Mouse Trap, Lil Tinker, Cowboy or Woody. Shots are in the gallery below!
