Savannah's Sidewalks Get Gamey
Every year I try to head up 95 to the Savannah College of Art and Design, my alma mater, for a little relaxation and their spectacular Sidewalk Arts Festival. At the annual event, the concrete panels of Savannah's Forsyth Park are turned into an open air gallery of chalk illustration by students, kids, alumni, and anyone else that cares to sign up.
Now I didn't say that every year I get to see it for myself. Unfortunately my work schedule and some other factors forced me to stick around my neck of the swamp and I wasn't able to go this year. Thankfully vigilant reader Mr. Whale Jr. was there and took some photos of some gaming related squares to share with all of us here. We got a little bit of everything this year from Mario to Mega Man to internet superstar Chuck Norris. In the so strange I want to see it happen in real life category: whoever made that Pokemon vs. Street Fighter one is awesome! Congrats to everyone who participated!
