Video: 3D Dot Game Heroes, The Hero Your Hero Could Be
We here at the GayGamer castle have been enjoying the trailers and videos that Atlus has been releasing for its upcoming release, 3D Dot Game Heroes. From an epic trailer to a US trailer and the rather amusingly titled 'Natural Sword Enhancement' advertisement, laughs, chuckles, and an appreciation of its aesthetic have always quickly followed. Now we have the above 'The Hero Your Hero Could Be' spot, which is a spoof on an Old Spice commercial ('The Man Your Man Could Smell Like').
The trailer makes sure that we all know we gamers have possibilities open to those of us with patience. Sure, you can just make a stick figure hero, but why do that when you could be a tank? A tank, ladies, gentlemen, and those who would rather design something else.
Or perhaps your sword could shoot beams. Better yet? It could be a giant fish.
As the trailer states, anything is possible. Now we just have to wait until May 11 to enjoy this Zelda homage (as Tim Turi of GameInformer lovingly shows it can be--if you want the hero of Hyrule to be your avatar).
