Violent Femmes Debut And Siouxsie Gets Another Song In Rock Band

Being a teen of the eighties, I am always excited when music from my past shows up on Rock Band. Siouxsie and The Banshees were always a favorite of mine and I immediately downloaded the track pack when it came out last year. News comes today that there will be another track coming next week, one of the group's more mainstream hits, "Peek-a-boo". As it turns out, another childhood favorite of mine, The Violent Femmes, are making their Rock Band debut with American Music. I would prefer Blister in The Sun, but you can't have everything. Brit rockers Supergrass get another single with "Sun Hits The Sky", making it their third Rock Band DLC. The real focus of the week however is a new Coheed and Cambria track pack that includes three songs: "Guns of Summer", "Here We Are Juggernaut" and "The Broken."
All of these tracks will be available on Xbox and Wii on April 20 and PS3 on April 22.

Do you like American music? We like American music. I like American music, baaaaaybeeee!
Siouxsie and the Banshees are THE BOMB! Nobody howled back in the day like Ms. Sioux. I just wish Rockband has chosen something less commercial as Peek-a-boo was the beginning of the end for the Banshees.
Now imagine something like the live versions of 'Eve White/Eve Black' or 'Pulled to Bits' from the 1983 Nocturne album:
"Tongues are clacking
Words of one vision
One tiny incision
And teeth are cracking
On thin air, on thin air
And teeth are cracking
On thin air
Pulled to bits--in silence
Left rotting on the ground
Slowly pulled to bits--in silence
Without a sound, without a sound"
Howl Banshees HOWL!
