Fantastic Flash - Edutainment Edition: Canabalt Typing Tutor

It used to be that if you wanted to improve your typing skills you could turn to Mavis Beacon or even Mario to help you graduate from hunting and pecking on the keyboard to true typing. Then Typing of the Dead came around, and it seemed like the typing teacher genre had found perfection. That is, until Canabalt: Typing Tutor Edition hit the web.
Yes, Canabalt, the insanely addicting one-button game has received a multi-button, typing tutor makeover. And you know what, it actually works surprisingly well. After all, nothing will teach you how to type better than running for your life across rooftops as giant robots destroy the world around you. If your typing skills are already up to snuff, then you can also play with the space bar or a double-click on the mouse to improve those skills, though if you have trouble with space bars and double-clicking then perhaps you need more help than just a typing tutor. Maybe it will even be ported to the iPhone for people to improve their texting speed. On second thought, playing on the tiny iPhone keyboard just sounds painful.
