Male Host Clubs To Make Their Gaming Debut, Including Epic Hair
By now most otaku are quite familiar with the concept of a Japanese hostess club - an exclusive venue where the very wealthy (and very lonely) can pay to spend an evening chatting with one of its lovely ladies, who pour drinks for them and pretend to be interested and intent for a certain number of hours. The clients who frequent these will pick favorites, and the club itself also favors them, sometimes renting out expensive lockers just to hold the expensive drinks that the client has purchased to share with their expensive hostess. Hostess clubs have long had a prominent role in some anime series, while most gamers have likely heard of them from the Japan-based Yakuza series, where players can court certain hostesses and even manage a club. (Some controversy arose when Sega unilaterally decided that the hostess club minigame and other content were 'too Japanese' for Western audiences and cut them from the release of Yakuza 3.)
Thus far, we gamers who would more readily entertain a high-class date with a male host rather than a hostess have been out of luck, but that's about to change thanks to a mobile game coming to Japan known as Real Host Love. The object of this saucy game is to court various dolled-up guys in a host club to find out which handsome stranger dropped off an anonymous tip that raised your family out of debt. The only clue the stranger left? A lighter engraved with "Club Confidential," the name of a local host club.
While there are no plans to bring this cell-phone dating game anywhere but Japanese phones for Japanophones, it is still nice to see a trend turn around that's so far left female-oriented gamers as the only ones to be satisfied in this particular genre. Of course, Japan has its own strange taboos against homosexuality, and the protagonist in Real Host Love is written as female, but that doesn't stop it from looking like quite a fun way to spend an afternoon. But oh, I can only hope the game makes enough money to pay the haircare bills of these boyish models. So... much... product...
Hostesses? Ha! Hosts! [Kotaku]

I get it, this is a joke, no way could those girls can be guys.....right? lol j/k still though o.o wow that's a lot of hair.
I really don't understand the Japanese seemingly taking inspiration in their hair styles from David Bowie in Labyrinth.
