New Killzone 3 Details: Jetpacks! Snow! 3D!

A subscriber to GamePro got to his mailbox before everyone else, and decided that the world needed to know about all the details the magazine's featured article on Killzone 3 revealed. He even itemized them for our convenience. Some highlights include:
- They've added jetpacks for both the heroes and the Helghast, which will add new strategies to the combat.
- The game will be in 3D, assuming you've splurged for one of those fancy new 3D TVs and don't mind wearing the glasses.
- A good amount of the game will take place in an arctic environment, meaning you'll get to play snow levels.
- A better idea of the Helghast culture, including their language and glimpses of their "humanity."
To me, Killzone 2 was a pretty all right game tainted by the douche-y companions they saddled you with, so hearing that this one will be "like Inglourious Basterds" doesn't fill me with a lot of optimism that they've resolved that particular issue. No date for the game was given in the summary, although it looked "very complete." I'd say this holiday isn't out of the cards, or maybe just after the new year. It may depend on when Resistance 3 finally makes an appearance, as I imagine Sony isn't going to pit its two exclusive shooters against each other.
Do you think the market saturation of 3DTVs will grow enough by the time the game comes out that it will actually be a selling point, or are they too ahead of the curve here? As long as the game doesn't suffer from the inclusion of 3D (slower framerate, shorter campaign, etc.), I don't have a problem with them trying it out for the few who could appreciate it. I don't expect I'll personally experience it in 3D for quite some time, though.
