Pokemon Black/White Battles Look A Little Different

Pokebeach has some videos up from this week's Pokemon Sunday, showing a bit of the visual change to the battles in Pokemon Black and White. Most importantly, the pokemon are constantly moving! A little bit. Actually most of the time they just kind of look a little antsy, but is an improvement over the relatively static images in the current games. Although I will say that something kind of disturbing is going on with Raikou's rear-end in that first video. The action also pans back and forth a little depending on the attack, which is a nice addition, but the mechanics of the battle don't seem fundamentally different.
Also shown was a bit of the main character walking down a busy city street, bumping into characters and passing little stalls and buildings. A few word bubbles pop up when the character runs into NPCs, so presumably you can talk to most of these characters, although they're a little more active than the current games' townfolk. It definitely reflects what we know about the game's look so far.
Pokemon Black and White is shaping up to be the most exciting entry in the series for some time, and I'm liking the steady trickle of information. Check out the videos at the link below.

This is so coming out on the 3DS.
Ugh, I am completely sucked in, again. All it takes is a little twitchiness in the pokemon to reignite my obsession. Can't wait to import it in the Fall!

It'll have 3DS enhanced features [since these games and it are coming out around the same timeframe in Japan - and it'll happen again with the March/April US and Europe releases too] - but sadly Nintendo missed a goldmine [and only sure-fire] opportunity to get people to adopt the 3DS day one by making this another DS title, in my opinion of course.
