Team Fortress 2's Heavy Statue Is Heavy, Ready For Preorder
Do you like Team Fortress 2 and an assortment of other games made by Valve? Do you also like collecting freakishly authentic statues made out of polystone? Well, you're in luck today since a company known as Gaming Heads is teaming up with Valve to bring you some of your favorite characters to your desk/man cave/wherever you display your "toys."
The first product of this team-up is TF2's wooftastic Heavy. He comes in ravishing Red and bubbly Blue with each color sporting Heavy's first love, Sasha, that giant gun he's hold in the picture. An exclusive version comes paired with an extra head with an expression that I call "Son I Am Disappoint" and an attachment that updates Sasha to Natascha. The regular edition of the statue is going to set you back $230 with 750 pieces available. The exclusive edition will cost you a little bit more at $245 with just 300 pieces available.
Now, I like TF2 and all, but I'm much more of a Portal or Half-Life guy myself. Thankfully the Valve collection line up is set to include 18 inch statues from Half-Life 2, 12 inch statues from TF2 like the Heavy, 12 inch statues from Left 4 Dead 2 (I guess this means no Francis), and whatever Gaming Heads is calling "life size props." While all of those have yet to be revealed, parties interested in Heavy can head on over to the Gaming Heads website and preorder this big burly guy.

Anyone else wish they'd just do more affordable stuff like action figures, though? I've been dying for a Gordon Freeman figure for like a decade now...
