Video: Jesse Hernandez Shows Off In Modnation Racers
Is there a better way for ModNation Racers to develop some vinyl toy street cred than to have iconic toy designer Jesse Hernandez (and host of Vinyl Addiction) show off his own in-game creations? I don't think so! Check out the video above to see what happens was a renowned artist gets his hands on the game.
I remember being impressed with the character creation tools when I tired out the beta earlier this year and wondered what actual artists would be able to come up with once they got their hands on it. Watching a master of the real art show off his creation process in the video above by using the game is pretty awesome and gets me excited to see what's in store when the game ships later this month.
I really hope that this is a sign of things to come for the game. As a bit of a vinyl toy collector myself, I'd love it if United Front Games would bring in various vinyl artists for a series of downloadable content. How cool would it be to see what the artists that work with Super7 and Kid Robot could come up with using the game's tools? Of course, the one toy character I'd like to see transition from reality into the game the most would be Frank Kozik's Labbit.
