Video: Rock Of The Dead Crawls To Wii, PS3, 360 With Zombie-Slaying Guitars
It might not be quite as improbable of a zombie-killing implement as a keyboard, but this fall you'll get the chance to blast zombies with the power of rock using those plastic guitars you have lying around. Rock of the Dead, the campy spoof on light-gun games like House of the Dead, was previously only announced for the Wii but may be making the jump to 360 and PS3 as well. The multiplatform rumors are stemming from listings on Gamefly and Amazon.com where all three consoles are listed for release. Interestingly, all three consoles also share a bargain $39.99 price, though this could easily change with a more formal announcement of the game on 360 and PS3.
In case Rock of the Dead wasn't already on your radar, I've included the above video (courtesy of IGN) featuring the voice of Neil Patrick Harris using guitar riffs and self-referential one liners to re-kill some sewer mutants. If that doesn't make you want to pick up Rock of the Dead when it (tentatively) releases this October, nothing will.
