E3 '10: Be The King Of Pop

Ubisoft kicked off E3 '10 with the surprise announcement that they are developing an "interactive performance-based video game" inspired by the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. Which means it's unfortunately not a sequel to the classic Moonwalker. (Moonwalker 2: Electric Boogaloo, anyone?) Instead, the game will let you slip into MJ's sequined glove and sing and dance your way to superstardom. Sing and dance along to classic tracks like "Beat It" and "Billie Jean"... although hopefully they'll leave out the crotch-grabbing choreography, at least if they're going for the family audience...
"We're delighted to have the opportunity to develop a game based on the songs and moves of one of the world's most incredible performers of all time," said Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft. "We expect the game to bring Michael Jackson fans, families and friends together with the energetic song and dance of The King of Pop."
The game will be available for all major systems, with various control schemes. It will be out for the Kinect on Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support, PSP, and Nintendo's Wii and DS. Obviously the DS and PSP will have more traditional controls while the Wii will have you flailing your Wiimotes around. But the 360 and PS3 versions will obviously be used to help push the new Kintect and Move peripherals. And if anyone can move product, it's Michael Jackson... 750 million records worldwide is nothing to sneeze at!

is avoiding prosecution an achievement?
