E3 '10: Mizuguchi Returns With Spiritual Sequel To Rez: Child Of Eden
That's right, Mizuguchi's next game, Child of Eden, is set to be a spiritual successor to rhythm shooting cult classic Rez. How much like Rez? According to publisher Ubisoft it is a "multi-sensory shooter that will send players diving into a kaleidoscopic matrix of synchronized music and mind-blowing visuals that will usher forth a landmark game experience." Yeah, that sounds like Rez to me.
The first trailer is out for Child of Eden, and it is beyond pretty. It looks to have a nice underwater theme going on, with plenty of manta rays and jellyfish along with the psychedelic light and color show. It'll be coming to both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, with compatibility with the 360's Kinect (though thankfully Kinect is not required).

Have heard of Rez before, but never played it.
Finally something different for my 360 [other than RPGs, Adventure and Platformer games]!
I'm not exactly sure what I just watched, but I know it was fantastic :)
