E3 '10: Video: Dance Central
So while over by the MTV booth, I saw that Harmonix has a new dance game that uses the Xbox 360 Kinetic called Dance Central. I was lured up to give it a go, so in the interest of fair play, I thought it only fair that I take video of myself to make up for posting the video of Game-Boy on the mechanical bull. I had a really good time playing it, and they were handing out Dance Central-branded towels afterward, since you actually can work up a sweat playing on harder levels. I danced to "Funkytown," but unfortunately in the video, all you can hear is "Poker Face" on the neighboring game station. The girl before me danced to "Hella Good." You mirror the movements of the on-screen dancers, and are rated by how closely you match the choreography. It's wicked fun, and the Kinect actually seems to work pretty well. Of course, I was playing on easy, so it was probably extra forgiving!
I was told that there's going to be over 30 songs on the disc, with countless DLC songs to come, no doubt. There will be over 90 routines with over 600 dance moves. Dance Central is due out this holiday season,

You go! Look out Ulala their is a new dancing reporter in town!
That looks like a ton of fun! But not enough to buy a 360 and Kinect for. Have you seen anything there about Singstar Dance?
Haha, adorable. Way to go! Looks like fun, I may have to explore this game for parties. After a couple of drinks, this would be quite hilarious.
