Join EA's Gun Club!

clinicapr02gang [].jpg

EA is forming a "Gun Club" and they want you to sign up! No, no, it's not an offshoot of the 4H club or something... it's just a program that you can sign up for and earn stuff like in-game content and early access to beta tests and demos as well as news and access to developers. The "Gun Club" will include EA titles like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Medal of Honor and an all new paid digital expansion pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 set in Vietnam. More games of this ilk will be included in the "Gun Club" as they're released, including Battlefield Heroes and Dead Space 2.

"This program takes our games from being individual launches to being part of an ecosystem within our portfolio, while showing fans our appreciation for their loyalty. The Gun Club gives us a platform to cross-pollinate our games, dialogue directly with players and add value to the entertainment experience for fans," says Jeff Karp, Senior VP of Marketing at EA. "Today, we are launching the Gun Club with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor - two of the hottest titles coming out this year... and this is just the beginning."

Starting today, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIP's become eligible to redeem Medal of Honor rewards, including early access to the Medal of Honor beta as well as early access to a weapon unlock in the retail version of the game — the M24 Sniper Rifle. Just use your EA profile as your "Gun Club" membership profile, and see what awards you qualify for to give yourself an edge in battle! Head on over to www.gunclub.ea.com if you're feeling like a gun nut!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
