Launched: iPhone 4 Released Today!

Happy New iPhone Day everybody! It seems like it was just weeks ago that Apple gave us the first (official) word on everything from iOS4 to the glass encased, video call making iPhone 4. Oh wait...
Anywho, I was lucky enough to pick one up (actually it arrived in the mail yesterday) and just playing around with it for a short time I couldn't be happier about my choice to upgrade to the "for now" latest and greatest hardware. The most noticeable thing that I've seen so far has to be the delicious screen attached to this thing. It's not that my old 0G iPhone had a terrible screen or anything, but the difference here is stunning. To call it sharp is a bit of an understatement. Delving a bit deeper into the ever so shiny piece of hardware, it's nice to see little add-ons like the compass and imagine where game developers can use something like this in their upcoming games. And maybe it's just because I've upgraded from the original iPhone, but everything (Safari, games, everything) seems to load up much quicker. That by itself made my upgrade totally worth it.
But forget about me, I'm interested in you dear readers. Did any of you upgrade from an older model? Maybe you just got back from the insanity that is any Apple Store in the United States with your first ever iPhone? Don't hold out, I want to hear about it. Hit the comments and share your thoughts and experiences.

Meh? Apple products? So 1984...
The is the first Apple product I have been excited about. It is actually an impressive product so I hope it does well.
I got an HTC Evo instead :P open source Super Nintendo roms ftw
I got an HTC Evo instead :P open source ftw.. luvs the old school snes roms on it too. Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, or FF3 anyone?
What's an iPhone? ^_^ Just kidding, I honestly don't care about cellphones. I actually use my cell phone to call people, that' it, and I'm not buying a new model every 6 months just because it's shinier. When the cellphones have an online/single mode as complex as Metal Gear Peace Walker, then I will check it out but so far I'm not impressed.
*is still crossing fingers for an iP4-based iPod touch with camera*
I can't even GET an upgrade till March, so I'm sure not shelling out 599 for a phone right now. I can't seem to get any answers as to whether I can get an early adopter break either. If I'm stuck waiting till March, I'll just wait for iphone 4G or Verizon iphone :)
If you call in for support, please make sure to be patient and nice. Poor peeps are taking back-to-back calls like crazy today.
Oh dear: Ifail

*hugs his htc desire and open source OS*
I was one of the fools that didn't pre-order and thus could not get it in the mail.
Thus I had to line up with other fools for about 12 hours (I kid you not) to get the darn thing. But I'm in love and had the time of my life!
I pre-ordered and got it on Wednesday. Yay my first iPhone! Absolutely amazing! I admit that during one call my hand did grip the wrong part of the phone and the call got shaky (but wasnt dropped), I just moved my hand and things where fine again. The good outweighs the bad.
