Sims Stuff Pack: Not Jones

As surely comes as no surprise to anyone, Sims 3, which recently released the Ambitions expansion pack, is getting ready to release a Stuff Pack called Fast Lane. Stuff Packs being not quite full expansions, this one focuses pretty much on one aspect: cars.
As the first stuff pack dedicated to vehicles and the fast-lane lifestyle, The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff pack allows you to choose from four different lifestyle options: racing, intrigue, rockabilly and classic luxury. Each one offers unique items to outfit your Sims with the newest fashions, home furnishings and vehicles. Now your Sim can create the ultimate garage where they can store their hot rod, professional racing car or even their motorcycle. For example you can give them a sponsor-laden racing jumpsuit, neon wall sign, trophy case, workbenches, tool boxes and loads more! Give them the ride they've always dreamed of, and the lifestyle to go along with it. With The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff pack, create the ultimate experience for the car enthusiast in you.
Seems pretty simple and straightforward. Of course, with the built-in Sims 3 store, I do wonder why they are bothering releasing Stuff Packs, instead of just putting them up as bundles there--perhaps too much content? It seems a throwback to a time when digital purchase and download was not so prevalent, and makes me further wonder how well the store actually does (i.e. how many people who bought the game have made a purchase beyond the initial free points they were given?). Any Sims 3 players out there who have used the service?
Anyway, Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff Pack will release this fall in both a boxed and digital distribution form. Pricing point for Stuff Packs tends to be $19.99. Meanwhile, the title has reminded me that I may want to reinstall and play one of the earlier life simulation games my mother and I would always play: Jones in the Fast Lane. Meanwhile, enjoy both the Intrigue and Rockabilly styles showcased below
