Video: Zelda II The Adventure Of Link 3D
Zelda II is one of those games that remains in my memory as an extremely difficult game that daunted me as a child--then again, it was on the NES, and many games daunted me back then.
Requiring the Unity plugin (which seems to be popping up more and more in browser-based games), you can now play the first level or so of Zelda II as an FPS in your browser. Michael Johnston has it all over on his blog, 3D NES, complete with a walkthrough, and outlining changes he made.

Zelda II will always be my favorite game in the series. It was brutally hard (in terms of puzzles and action) and completely different from the rest of the series. Even though it's not one of the most popular entries, I wish Nintendo would revisit the concept of a side scrolling Zelda adventure.
