Videos: Pre-E3 Trailer Round-up
Oh E3 - you're basically a big nerdy prom mixed with the Superbowl covered in Mountain Dew and then set on fire. That's why we love you! Or maybe that's why you make us want to dip all our parts in Purell? Anyway, other members of Team GayGamer are all gearing up to cover the literally oodles of games that companies are shoving down our throats this year, but a few of them are getting a jump on the competition with some early trailers. Above we've got Devil's Third, the new game from Ninja Gaiden creator Tomonobu Itagaki. It looks about how you'd expect: swords, slicing, gore, except this time there's a minigun. Plus the female character is actually conservatively dressed! Well, relatively - she's not wearing a thong and some dental floss, at least.
After the break, check out the Killzone 3 gameplay video, which shows a lot of punching, jetpacking, and clothing completely inappropriate for the weather. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 continues the "story" from the previous trailer, this time introducing a couple new characters, Dante vs. Deadpool. A little on-the-nose but both should be great additions to the series. Fallout: New Vegas shows us that what happens in the apocalypse, stays in the apocalypse, and Gran Turismo 5 is still about cars, in case you were worried they were going to make the new one a first person shooter or something. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 uses its clip to try and set up a plot, but secretly knows that we really only care about using crazy Jedi powers. Lastly, Super Scribblenauts demonstrates how the game will work with adjectives. Wings and rainbows for everyone!
