Groove To The Alan Wake Soundtrack!

alanwakesoundtrack.jpg

If you're in the mood for some creepy, mood-setting music, you might be happy to know that Sumthing Else Music Works and Microsoft Game Studios have announced the Alan Wake Original Score featuring music from the Xbox 360 game by composer Petri Alanko. It will be released on July 20 to retail outlets and will be available to download from www.sumthingdigital.com and iTunes.

"Scoring Alan Wake was all about finding the motives of the characters and what forces them onwards," says composer Petri Alanko. "Composing a romantic score for a psychothriller might not seem obvious, but to me it was the right approach for the game - and I thank Remedy for believing in the decisions I made."

So if you've enjoyed the moody tunes of Alan Wake, there are 18 tracks of Alanko's work headed your way in just a few weeks. There's no price for the downloadable digital version, but the link to buy takes you to Amazon.com, where it's going for $15.98.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
