Level 5 Considering Ni No Kuni, Inazuma Eleven For US Release

ni no kuni localization rumor.png

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine Level 5 president Akihiro Hino revealed that the company is looking into the localization of two of it's games. When talking about Japanese series Inazuma Eleven and Studio Ghibli collaboration Ni no Kuni, Hino said "I don't think it will that be long before you're able to play these games."

Inazuma Eleven is a strategy soccer RPG series that has been quite popular in Japan, already on the series' third game, and a console version coming to the Wii. Ni no Kuno is the adventure RPG collaboration between Level 5 and Studio Ghibli coming to DS and PS3 that we were all drooling over last month. Since Hino was speaking with Nintendo Power magazine, it's likely he was specifically referring to the DS version of Ni no Kuni, but a localization of the PS3 version would be likely to follow. Ni no Kuni in particular is a surprise since the DS version includes a physical book providing a bestiary and spell guide with diagrams for drawing the various spell runes that will be used in-game via the touchscreen.

Of course, there is no official announcement at this point, so who knows how long localization for these titles will take. Inazuma Eleven 3 released a few weeks ago in Japan and Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madōshi coming to Japanese DS December 9.
