Indie Game Magazine Sponsors Gamers Getting Well: Subscriptions With Your Donations

Gamers Getting Well, a charitable foundation providing video games to children in long term healthcare is teaming up with independent gaming magazine Indie Game Magazine. to help raise funds.

The drive began this week and will continue through August 15th. Any gamer who donates will receive a full subscription to Indie Games Magazine and be entered into a drawing for games from the website's review queue. You must register your donation through the IGM portal to be eligible. The subscription will be offered to all donors regardless of amount.

Indie Game Magazine Powers Up Summer Fund Drive for Get-Well Gamers

Donors to Receive Complimentary Subscription, Entry into Special Prize Drawing


NEW YORK, NY, July 7, 2010-Indie Game Magazine (www.indiegamemag.com), the premier source of independent gaming news, reviews and culture, today announced a summer fund drive for Get-Well Gamers Foundation (www.getwellgamers.org), a California-based public charity dedicated to bringing electronic entertainment to children in long-term healthcare facilities

The drive begins on Tuesday, July 6 and runs through August 15. Anyone who donates to Get-Well Gamers during that time through the IGM portal, no matter how much or how little, receives an IGM subscription and is automatically entered into a drawing to receive free games from the IGM review queue and other special prizes.

"Get-Well Gamers performs an essential community service," said Mike Gnade, Editor and Publisher, Indie Game Mag. "It is an honor to work with Ryan and his team to further their mission."
