Video: Bastion Is One Jaw Dropping RPG
While a lot of you lucky readers were able to frolic in the halls of PAX this weekend, some of us had to watch and drool over the upcoming games from afar. If you were at PAX, then I hope that you checked out the games of the "PAX 10," specifically a little indie RPG known as Bastion. Above you'll find the official debut trailer for Bastion, which introduces you to the game's beautiful, crumbling world. The former Command and Conquer devs at Super Giant Games seem to be onto something special here, with an RPG that looks like concept artwork come to life.
After the jump you'll find another video, found on KJ's Games Channel, that features over 4 minutes of gameplay footage for those of us who couldn't play it over the weekend. The way that the world forms around you as you play, and the dynamic narration that changes to fit your actions mas made Bastion shoot up to the top of my most anticipated games list. There's still a bit of a wait until Bastion's expected Summer 2011 release date on PC Xbox 360, and PS3, but if these early footage is anything to go by, it will certainly be worth the wait.

Well, now I never have to wonder what it would be like if Randy Newman narrated an RPG...
Jesus, that narrator is annoying.
This game frankly looks boring and repetitive.
Looks very interesting and unique. I like the mix of RPG/Sim/Sidescroller, will have to try this out
It looks like Legend of Mana, but sounds like a God of War knockoff.
Bastion itself doesn't sound really interesting, but seeing this made me want to play Legend of Mana remade with a similar engine.
