A nice, peaceful week in Narnia. Well, except for the part where I almost died!

Rodeo sent me a green counter in the mail as a thank you for giving him medicine for a few days to help him get over his cold. Whatever. The real gift was that you didn't move away, my precious demon bull...
I know it's hard to tell what's actually happening in this picture, but it's me crumpling to my death after being bitten by a crazed scorpion. See, silly me was still filled with false confidence following my successful capture of a tarantula a couple weeks ago, and so when I saw a scorpion this week, I didn't even think twice before racing after it with my net. Idiot. Luckily I just woke up in front of my house, although I have no idea how I got there....
By the end of the week, we finally got a new resident, and although I didn't like Pierce on first sight, after talking with him, I think he's going to fit in just fine here in Narnia. What? He looks wacky, but he sounds pretty cool. Guess it's true about not judging books by their covers...
