Deal: Buy Dead Space 2 At Kmart, Get $20 Digital Bucks For Xbox Live Or PSN

There's only a few more days left until Dead Space 2 hits stores, and Kmart is trying to strategically dismember your wallet (ugh) by giving you $20 worth of points for either PSN or Xbox Live, depending on the version of the game you buy. Spend it on some arcade games you've been eying, save it for upcoming DLC, or just hoard it for when the world economy goes entirely points based. I personally like this way more than getting a gift card tied to a specific store, although you may want to get there early in the week: while the deal runs January 25-29, and Kmart's rep says that stocks of the cards are good now, I imagine they will dwindle if the deal's a hit. Still, you can always contact him if you don't manage to get your hands on a card and try to work something out.
Dead Space 2 looks like it might push the franchise into the big leagues: EA's giving it the slot that worked so well for Mass Effect 2 last year, and the game's getting three separate prequels (Dead Space: Ignition, an iPhone game, and the direct-to-video Dead Space: Aftermath). EA really wants you to buy this game, and they're not above begging for your cash.

So I guess if I plan on buying it for PC I'm just shit out of luck. Looks like I'm still getting it on Steam like originally planned.
Thanks for the Kmart shoutout, guys. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me or Josh a line directly!
