Delicious Dissidia Duodecim Details Discovered!

Square-Enix certainly knows how to appeal to their fanbase, don't they? Joystiq is reporting that Dissidia Duodecim Prologus Final Fantasy, the demo for Dissidia 012 [Duodecim] Final Fantasy. has a very special prize attached to it. Anyone who pays the ¥300 for a tasty snippet will be able to do what every gamer has wanted to do since 1997: bring Aeris back from the dead. She will not be a playable character, but rather an Assist character. The inclusion of Aeris almost makes up for the ridiculousness of the title given to the demo.
Some other nice details emerged about the game, mainly the inclusion of two additional characters, fan favorite Gilgamesh, of Final Fantasy V fame, and Prishe, from Final Fantasy XI. Prishe is a character I'm exceptionally excited about. While not as memorable as Shantotto, who was featured in the first Dissidia, it is great to see SE give some fan service to the players of FFXI, whose consistency and dependability has been ignored as of late because of the antics of its annoying younger brother, FFXIV.
No word yet on if this deal will be coming stateside, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that, if not the demo itself, there will be at least some way to get gamer's favorite flower girl in our copies of Dissidia.

I;m still waiting on Vivi, Square Endos... ;)

I personally want to see a summoner incorporated somehow. Eiko bashing someone with a flute? Why yes, this does sound pleasing to my ears.

Having played both, I LOLed.

Don't know if you heard this or not but Yuna will be in full on summoner mode. She'll summon Valefor, Ixion and...Shiva?(not sure on the last one) and for her Limit Break, she summons all three of them at once, ala the Pokemon Trainer's Final Smash.
Klarth@ As irrational as is, even though I no longer play FFXI, I'm still attached to my little Tarutaru. It is why I keep my crest of Windurst on my keychain.
