Dissidia 012 Sports Even More Unlockable Third Forms, Fanservice Galore

Following a flurry of sequel-errific news from their recent event, Square-Enix is doing even more for the fans of their favorite fantasy franchise by introducing a whole bunch more outfits for the cast of Dissidia 012[duodecim]! Are you ready to play dress-up on a whole new level?

The Third Forms of new and returning characters are unlockable bonuses for striving hard with a single character, so they're naturally a badge of pride as well as a aesthetic choice. Even better, most of them are based off artwork by long-standing character designer Yoshitaku Amano, whose designs end up inspiring the characters themselves. The most recent reveals on the official site are as follows:

First off, we see Jecht sporting a Blitzball uniform for the Zanarkand Abes, then we see Kuja floating down the runway in a dark, boss-type outfit. Now, observe the most recent protagonist, Lightning, resplendent in a uniform which almost evokes a Sanctum soldier. Tidus is also getting in on the sports action with a half-bare look, and Zidane rounds out the military theme with an Alexandria soldier's outfit.

This and other costumes already exist on the main page, but there will undoubtedly be plenty more fanservice in store before the Japanese release date of March 3! Stay tuned as we watch these returning stars and pore over cosplay possibilities!
