Git Yer Ice Cold January Lips DLC Right Here!
It's been a while since I've fired up Lips, but I may actually have to dig out the disc in a week or two based on the January DLC that they've got planned for the karaoke game! Here's what to expect this month:
January 7:
"Sail On" by The Commodores
"Nothin' On You" by B.o.B feat. Bruno Mars
Eh. "Sail On" isn't quite cheesy enough for me.
January 14:
"Our House" by Madness
"Happy Ending" by Mika
Mika Song Pack (includes "Love Today," "Lollipop," and "Happy "Ending")
The discounted song packs aren't really very helpful when they do them after adding a third song to the catalog. I've had the other two Mika songs for ages. And besides, it's really hard to sing in his falsetto anyway, so no thank you. On the other hand, I can't wait to sing "Our House!" What an awesome song!
January 21:
"Informer" by Snow
"Falling Down" by Selena Gomez & The Scene
I know Selena Gomez is some kind of Disney ingenue, so that's probably some crap teenybopper song. But who cares, because they're going to give us "Informer!" I know I'm going to absolutely suck at it because it's so fast, but come on — how can you resist?! A-licky-boom-boom-now! (or whatever he says!)
January 28:
"Don't Get Me Wrong" by The Pretenders
"Stand" by R.E.M.
That's a good Pretenders song, but seriously, I can't stand "Stand." I really hope my bf doesn't find out about this, because I'm afraid he'll want to buy it! If I never hear that awful song again in my life, it'll be too soon. Too soon, I tell you! (That's the kind of cheese that I don't like!)
