Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Hits The Strip!
I know that there's probably not a lot of you living in or around Las Vegas, but I just wanted to let you know that if you are, you might be able to attend a very special Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 secret event that Capcom is throwing! It'll be from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday, January 6, and there will be free pizza and beer, meaning you have to be 21 or older. But there will also be a brand new build of MvC3 to get your hands on and play for prizes in a tournament! (In addition, the new build will also contain some new characters that have yet to be released!)
If you're interested in trying to attend this super-secret special event, just click on over to the Capcom-Unity site and follow the link to send a private message with your name and age to Snow with the subject line "I WANNA SEE YOUR SECRET PLACE." I know, it sounds dirty, but don't you want to be one of the first people to find out who the new characters are and play a game and maybe win a prize? The question is, do you live near enough to Las Vegas, NV to even bother?

Im disappointed to see Marcus Sakey so highly ranked on this list, with other more talented writers (e.g., Nami Mun) below. In his most recent crime novel, Sakeys characters fell flat (and felt one-dimensional), and someone who lives in Chicago should at least be able to get the name of one of the citys major parks correct (the novel references Millennial Park more than once). Perhaps crime fictions standards arent as high as other genres, but they should be. And in any case, putting his talent at #16 (where Luis Urrea resided last year) is a sad statement about your ranking system.
