New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Screens
Famitsu just revealed a slew of new screen-shots for the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 including Heihachi Mishima's reason for a second tag tournament. After secretly conducting anti-aging research and experiments, Heihachi has finally found a drug that restores youth and power. Using it on himself, he immediately notices results - his hair grows back and regains its color, but most importantly, he becomes more powerful. Wanting to show off his new strength, he decides to organize another tag tournament.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released in Japanese arcades this summer. Tekken producer and director Katsuhiro Harada has already revealed that all fighters from Tekken 6 would be returning, so all we can do now is just wait for new shots showing off their new costumes and styles. I'm so excited for this game I can barely stand it. When I used to work in a video game arcade in Massachusetts, it was right around the time Tekken Tag Tournament was released. I remember playing it for hours and hours...
This one will be no different >:D
I remember the first Tekken Tag being one of the first games I bought for my PS2, I loved being able to switch in an out between favorite characters. It was a game I never got tired of playing, and I instantly regretted trading it in all those years ago.
I hope this one will be just as fun. I also hope this keeps up the "no character left behind" mantra they have been touting since tekken 5. Its nice playing a fighting game and having an insane number of characters, hopefully this takes that number to new highs.

That's what I've liked about Tekken games. All their games (except for Tekken 4) have had a large roster of fighters, a mix of new and old. Having a new character introduced in Tekken Tag 2 is interesting since now they've been introducing new characters in every different arcade release of the game since 4.
While some may say quality is better than quantity - Tekken fighters are all unique, with the exception of Eddy/Christie. Can't wait for this game too.
so cant wait for this game. theres 44 slots in the leaked character select screen it was blurred so i couldn't tell who's in it besides the Tekken 6 roster. but expect more old favs to return.
