SF IV 3D Edition To Have Worldwide Multiplayer

The very sneaky, although not so cleverly named 3DS leak blog, "Nintendo 3DS Blog" streetfighteriv.jpgposted recently that it has been not only confirmed that Street Fighter IV 3D Edition will have online play, but posted confirmation by Yoshinori Ono, the series' producer, that the game will have worldwide multiplayer support! It is still up in the air about how Nintendo plans to balance all that Friend Code mumbo-jumbo, but it will be interesting to see how well the 3DS is able to play games of this caliber online with things like latency standing in between fluid fighting game action. I'm not sure if there's ever been a time that I've been more excited for a portable fighting game release! Check out the source links below if you'd like to continue following the unofficial 3DS Blog or Yoshinori Ono's twitter page.
