Contest: Win Treasure Seekers 2: The Enchanted Canvases

treas.jpgHello fellow readers. I come bearing gifts! Our friends over at G5 Entertainment were kind enough to supply us with three codes for a very fun iPhone game that I happened to review and love.

Treasure Seekers 2: The Enchanted Canvases blends object-finding mechanics with logic puzzles to provide the player with a fun, casual, and yet engrossing, experience. You follow the protagonist Nelly as she searches for her brother by entering many mysterious paintings and solving the painting dwellers' problems.

If you want the game, all you have to do is comment and write a few sentences letting me know about something you've found. It can be anything from a lucky penny, an iPod, or even a lost puppy. I'll pick three random ones and the winners will get an email from me with the code, so don't forget to include a valid email address in your comment! Entries accepted through Thursday, January 27 9PM EST.

You can also win any G5 Entertainment game over on their Facebook page by entering their "Games Meet Music" contest, so check them out if you want even more of their titles.

When I was, hmm, maybe 12 or so, I found a 14k gold ring on the ground. No inscription or anything (aside from "14k"). I don't think I told anyone about it, but it's not like I was trying to hide it. I'm 30 now, and for whatever reason, I still have it. It's actually next to me here at my computer desk. Why I haven't either lost it or sold it or given it away or something, I don't know.

i was about 7-8 years old, traveling with my parents and sisters to Spain. at that age, i was a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan (who am i kidding, i still am!) and especially a Leonardo fan who was one of my imaginary boyfriends at that time haha! we had been traveling for a pretty long time when the need to pee suddenly arrived, and so my parents stopped at a lost-in-the-middle-of-nowhere rest area. i go to the toilets, pee, come back to wash my hands when i notice a little something standing next to the sink i've decided to use: a Leonardo action figure (the Sewer Samurai version: http://tinyurl.com/6bf69yw), just like-new with all of its accessories!! i couldn't care less whose kid was it and if its parents would be back to find the figure, i just took it and ran to the car screaming with joy haha!

When I was in graduate school (flat broke), I found a fifty when walking home, along an out of the way path. I really needed the fifty, and I'm still glad about my amazing luck.

I once find a prosthetic foot on a bus. Rather than hand it in to the bus company, I contacted the maker from the label, and they were able to track down the owner who was thrilled (he never said how he lost it) who sent me a really sweet card and a box of toffees.

I was walking towards the bus stop to go to school in 8th grade when I found a $20 bill completely soaked from the dewey morning. The whole day I bragged about about how I found the money, and apparently a bully overheard me. She confronted me in the hall and demanded that I give it to her or else she'd beat me up. I lied and said I spent it all at lunch.(I was chubby so it was pretty believable) I learned a life lesson never to brag again!!
